I would suggest that you choose one of the Thick disk methods here. When choosing a hot disk, it is better to decide whether you want it to be lazy or eager, but if you ask me, I will choose an eager if you are doing an installation in the production environment.
In the Location section;
We specify in which datastore the disk to be created is to be stored. Here we are: Selecting the Store with the virtual machine; If we want to keep the disk on a different datastore, we choose Specify datastore or datastore cluster if we want the guest to be stored in the datastastore on the host it finds.
Since I did not install in the Production environment, I select Lazy to create the disc immediately and continue with Next.
In the Advanced Options section; From the Virtual Device Node section; SCSI ID can be specified. We do not do anything about SCSI ID because we do not create RDM. We leave it as default.
Mode section;
Persistent: The information we have in the guest, the changes we made remain on the disk.
Nonpersistent: Changes made on the disk are not fixed. Every time you close the machine, the information in it is deleted.
Undoable: If you choose this option, you will be asked what you need to do when you close the Guest.
I leave everything here as default and I keep going.
On the Ready to Complete screen, we see all the settings we have made. Here I select the option to mount the ISO and then continue with Continue.
